Bosco, I am surprised that Russel's axiom of "choice" did not come into play, after all, it is supposed to partially alleviate the problems arising from the theorem of incompleteness, and since we were discussing an election, what better axiom than the "axiom of choice". What is really funny is that when I was at the "tender age" of 11, I used a version of the same axiom (unbeknown to me at the time that I was stealing "Russel's thunder") to justify running away from an orthodox (Jewish) orphanage where the "authorities" stuck me according to their special "numerus clausius" rules.
