To clarify, for those watching..... we know that TELK has a MCP-1 antagonist lead molecule that is active in an animal model. The MCP-1 receptor (or a MCP-1 receptor) is CCR2, a G-protein-coupled receptor. Other companies with an interest in this field include MLNM, Pfizer and Roche. TD will be along soon to add to the list. <g> We've already discussed CCR1, which is a receptor for MIP-1 alpha. Status at TELK is lead optimization, last report that I know of (no report of activity in an animal model).
