I agree. Foolish mindless index funds. If it makes you feel any better, I bought in at $13.25 on Monday and only learned about the QQQ thing this morning.

I did consider selling and then buying again on Monday after the two times normal daily selling was over and then I remembered why I bought in. All of your reasons and one more besides: the California power situation is quite hopeless and I have been directly involved with the purchase and deployment of 6 BPS500 units in the last 10 days.

This is the clear reverse of all of the mindless buy any old crappy tech stock, because it has .com in the name. It will come back and may even pop a little, if normal fundamental investing rules ever mean anything again.
