If the axiom of choice was true, then it follows that the well ordering principle is true for any subset of real numbers.

Note as a corollary that the analog scale that governs dimpleness of a ballot can be well-ordered. Meaning that in any set containing the scale of dimpleness of a ballot, there is always a unique smallest dimple.

(vbg) WLOG, the state of dimpleness with clear intent is obviously analogous to the set of real numbers in (0,1) -- because these are the undervotes right?. (vbg)

Or perhaps, since there is a known upper bound to the number of atoms in each chad, we only need to deal with rational numbers in (0,1)? Interesting idea.
