CatLady, this is America. We say things that are rude and nasty to each other when we talk about politics. Back in the old days of the Supreme Court, the word they used for that speech was "robust." I think "robust" was an understatement. I think they wanted to keep women from voting so we wouldn't hear how men really talk to each other about politics, but now women do too. Off the pedestal, into the backroom brawl.

Do what you think is right without regard for what others do.
