The Weighted Price Index of the Taiwan Stock Exchange finished 90.64 points lower, or 1.73%, at 5134.10. The index lost 2.3% on week. Dealings on Saturday were valued at NT$28.2 billion (US$1=NT$33.07). Decliners well outnumbered advancers 480 to 45, while 62 issues ended the day unchanged.
