Don: Thank you for clearing this up. However, the credit goes to Tom Swyers. It was he, after all, who persuaded me to address you directly, a notion so obvious it all but escaped me.
That being said, it is flattering to be grouped in the same company as Lars, and I could not agree more that Lars is a "class act" in this medium. As for Tom's gentle reminder that I used one of your posts as evidence of a non-Brinkerism, I stand guilty as charged. I had voiced a minor gentleman's disagreement over the matter of complaints on this thread. True. The fun you had with Flanagan, Earl of Boredom and Champion Soporific, is something most of us, in good spirited comradeship, have participated in. After all, he is the "Earl of Boredom". We here can say that. The question is whether Brinker would ever say that about his colleague. Cer- tainly not on this thread. Brinker is too much of a professional. With us, on the other hand, all is fair game.
Meanwhile, I shall doggedly await for that "sweet cup of tea". Cheers |
