Hi Michael D. Burke; Re Kaiser reselling aluminum. It's been quite the news, as the companies have to pay off their workers in order to shut down production. Must be hell of a lot of expensive electricity and cheap aluminum... I think that what it means is that energy prices went through the roof before the dollar dropped far enough to make other trade goods (like aluminum) cheap. I would guess that it is a temporary situation, and that US manufacturers of export goods, and import replacements will do better as the prices of other goods rise to meet the energy prices. -- Carl
