The bias is liberal in style, but conservative in content.

Bias is best discerned by the stories they ignore, not by the attitudes of the talking heads they hire to read the "official version" of what's happening.

The heads of GE are not going to let NBC rock the boat. Same with Capital Cities ABC, Time-Warner-CNN-AOL, Murdoch, Gannett. These are not liberal organizations, and they certainly won't allow their media outlets to bite the hand that feeds them.
