Steve, Developers have been promised a certain level of performance, and have been told to CODE to that level of performance (in other words, don't worry if it is only 3fps on an NV15, make it right.. the hardware will carry it). Good point. That is the beauty of writing to a HAL. They can ship it with the best available Nvidia/3dfx/Nvidia3dfxcombo chip at the time of launch. I've already pre-ordered at GameStop.com. Bob
