I understand the difference, but we've heard Maria B. and the CNBC gang hype/talk about cash on the sidelines during this entire market slide. Keep in mind that US individual savings rate is negative, its the lowest since they started recording the statistic. The money coming out (which for the majority is less than what went in) is hopefully going towards paying off the record debt levels of US consumers with 15 credit cards. M.
