LOL, blandbutt. WRONG!!!!!!!!!!
Let me help you out here.
'bonnuss' is singular. I am bonnuss, for example.
I am but ONE bonnuss. (inimitably and mercifully so, according to many ... <g>)
However, if there were more than one 'bonnuss,' (such as is the stuff of Yahoo! message board 'culture' with my dozens of imposters <g>) the plural would be:
bonnusses.
Example:
"I know dozens of bonnusses."
Would be the same as "I know dozens of Smiths." Or Joneses.
NOW: When you get into the possessives, it's that tricky little double ess that screws up even those as well-read, educated, bi-lingual and .....(yada yada yada) brilliant(?) as you, blandbutt.
Possessive of bonnuss only requires an apostrophe. NO EXTRA ESSES!!!!
bonnuss'
Example: bonnuss' computer.
Comprendez vous?
Note: Never, blandbutt, in the English language, will one find three consecutive esses ... that's a little tip for ya as mental 'tickler' to help you remember in the future!
No need to thank me -- the pleasure is all mine.
Chez bonnuss
<g>
PS: Let's make this #6 in my list of 'who is god' questions, what do you say? LOL.
