True, but the fact that most silver production is a byproduct of copper, zinc-lead, and gold production has actually contributed to the increase in silver production. The by-product miners are all operating near record levels and spewing out lots of silver. For example, I was talking to Claude about Cominco recently and it looks like they may produce over 15moz of silver versus 12moz last year.
