Taiwan has backed out its plan to deploy CDMA networks using the reasons that "future investors' concern and smooth transition from its GSM to GPRS".

European (Nokia, ERICY and Simens) and Japanese are ahead in recent battle against QCOM's CDMA format.

Mika may be right this time.
