Joan, I think it should be played the way I've been recommending for a few years now: Buy stuff and calls on stuff and sell fluff and buy puts on fluff. I like hard assets: platinum, diamonds, gold, energy, titanium, uranium, coal, and cheap defensive industries, if you can find them. Those firms that have profited from the New pair of dimes financial paper shuffling game, banks, brokers, insurance cos., new issue tech stocks, look awfully vulnerable.
