That is a better and direct link to the article about Frontiers in Space which discussed the various satellite schemes and how they can fit into corporate user plans.

And here is one for an article about Qualcomm getting a $600 million contract for gateway production. Initial payment of $275 million for the first 3 or 4 has been made. These will be installed at:
Aussaguel, France; Yeoju, South Korea; and Clifton, Texas.
No mention of Dubbo, Australia.

Incidentally, Iridium is the most dense element of all, and one of the most expensive. More dense than lead, gold and all those heavy metals. I bet that's interesting. Now they have changed to Dysprosium, atomic number 66 because the initial 77 planned didn't work out right.
