You may not be an economics major but your conclusion that interfering with the ability of markets to perform their fundamental task, that is to create a balance between the quantity demanded and the quantity supplied, is almost always counterproductive is right on.

However I must question your assumption that being an economics major has anything to do with trading success. I was an Economics major and am now an Economics professor and I bet my trading success has not been any better than yours.
