They also have strong beliefs that the demented Reagan was a savior I think that it is wrong for conservatives or liberals to look to the president to be their savior. However (and on this thread I am likely to get flamed for this), I think Reagan was a great positive for this country. Clinton is the anti-Christ I don't view him quite that negatively but I personally am against many of his policies and also don't have a lot of respect for him. and doubya has the brains to run the country Well I guess we disagree here as well. Bush is not stupid. Gore might well have a higher IQ, but he also thinks because he is smart that he is smarter then the American people and should be able to tell them what to do for their own good. This thread is a place for friendly exchanges between posters of more liberal political stances (or those who are tolerant of them). Market talk, jokes, and food raves are also encouraged. The thread moderator will give disruptive posters one warning before they are blocked. To thread moderator - Is posting conservative (or libertairan) ideas here considered disruptive? If so I should probably just leave. I am tolerant of liberal ideas (depending on your exact definition of tolerant) but I strongly oppose most of them. (I'm tolerant of the ideas but not of them being actually put in to place. :) I just kindof stumbled into this discussion thread and it seems busy. I'm not sure I have the time to keep up with it as well as the other threads I participate in on SI, but I will at least read replies to my posts. Tim
