There was a time that gator poachers would wrap the skins around their bodies to smuggle them out on the sly. I knew of a gentleman in the Green's Swamp area that used to boast that "there were not any 10 game wardens that could take those hides off of him" .....later on he became all sheepish over his big talk...since it "only took five of them".

Yes...there is a lot more to Florida than beaches and transplants.
