That is your politics not AG's. Whether people like it or not Bush is the 43rd President. And, I think it is folly to believe that he doesn't feel that he owns the economy right now. I agree with Kevin. We are already on the road to recession. How long it lasts will depend on how quickly this country takes the medicine. Monetary policy will only play one part but it will play a part. AG is more a politician than you want to give him credit...He was after all, appointed. My bet is he does give a 25 basis point next week. This is likely, in turn, to leave January's decline in doubt.
