Hey, I was just reproducing an O'Connor quote. My own views on the subject will have to remain shrouded in mystery. Seriously, though, I don't think the ruling was "crazy". but I agree with the seven justices who found equal protection problems. If there was to be a hand count, it should have been in all counties, using the same standards in each that used punch cards for examing those punch cards.
