Your response amounts to the fact that you don't have proof, you say that some people have said he was stupid. No, I haven't tested him myself (but would love the opportunity!). My perception of his lack of intelligence comes from his record of C's and D's at Yale, his public statements, his behavior during the debates in which he had trouble forming sentences when his answers weren't prefabricated by his handlers, and his obvious terrified look when having to think on his feet. That's more than we have to go on most of the time when assessing people's intelligence without formal testing. In addition, I have not heard one person who knew him at Yale who has said that he IS very bright, but have heard several make statements to the contrary (that he was not only a heavy partier, but a dim bulb). If you choose to perceive him otherwise, I'm sure that you'll sleep easier the next 4 years than many of us! :-) Dr.Id@somesaythatQuayleissmarttoo.gov
