Wake hasn't had the horses since Tim Duncan graduated. They are strong 9 deep. Songaila, the starting center, led the Lithuanian team which almost upset the American pros in the Olympics. I'll watch for Curry; he sounds fearsome. .......Scalping is interesting because it gives you insight into the "street value" of the tickets. At the ACC Championship games (sold out every year) and the big rivalries (UNC-Duke, UNC-NC State), undercover policemen are present outside doing business. They always arrest a few scalpers to send a message. I once offered an angry Carolina fan some traveler's checks for an ACC tournament ticket. He wouldn't take them at first; he gave me the once over like I had offered him cocaine. Finally his buddy pointed out that a traveler's check was guaranteed to be good and we transacted business. ..........People who are not into college basketball don't understand what fans will do to get a ticket. At Carolina as a student, friends camped out Friday night in order to be first in line for ticket distribution on Sunday afternoon. If Carolina were to start having a strong season (it looks unlikely at this point), I can think of 25,000 students who would like to win the Final Four contest. That doesn't begin to enumerate the alumni and fans nationwide who would want to be in the stands. Tideglider doesn't have a clue. Regards, Suzanne
