With respect to software it's said that it's a lot easier to prove the existents of a bug then to prove the absence of bugs.

The conservatives say that less government is better and that the government is too intrusive. So what do the Republicans propose, laws to govern the private lives of citizens. There are no laws that make abortion legal. It’s the absence of laws making it illegal that make it legal. The republican plateform wants more laws in this area.

The conservatives believe that the role of government is to defend the nation but not much else yet Republican have no problem offering tax cuts to promote certain behaviors, ie. Tax cuts for families. Conservatives are against any kind of social engineering, it not the proper role of government. I agree, the Repubs on the other hand are more then willing to attempt social engineering as long as it’s religiously correct. I believe the role of the federal government needs to be curtailed. When I’ve been willing to support the Repubs, all I get in return is the politics of personal destruction. Never mind who started it or who is better at it.
