There are good decisions and bad decisions. This one is a bad decision on its merits. It is, for better or worse, the law, though it will stand as a very narrow and limited precedent, since the majority limited its applicablility to the specific facts of this case. But that does nothing to improve the quality of the majority opinion as an example of legal reasoning -- it is an abomination and will go down in history as a terrible, politically motivated decision.

Bad law, bad reasoning, federal overreaching by a supposedly conservative majority -- and the Court has never been held in lower public esteem as it is in the aftermath. But you guys go on thinking that this was a good decision. Please. Enjoy your illusions. It will only make our job easier in 2 years and again in 4 years.
