I dual-boot with W98SE and W2000Pro. When I first started running this system, the items I deleted would not appear in the Recycle bin, in W2000.

MS Knowledge Base said my permissions were too restrictive, and that I should log on as Administrator, open Windows Explorer, and locate the Recycle bin. Then select Properties/Ownership, use the option to Take Ownership.

Trouble is, when I log on as Administrator and find the recycle file, I don't see anything about Ownership anywhere. Not right-clicking, not in the file menu properties, it just is not there. I searched the Base for 'Ownership missing' but got no hits.

Anybody with W2000 know what I'm doing wrong?

Frank
