It depends on the flow. I am often self-abusive, and I had some sleep this afternoon. At least an hour, maybe more.

UFOs--- I am inclined not to believe in UFOs, but with a considerable undercurrent of doubt. I do not see any very good reason why the aliens would have recurrent rectal examinations of yahoos, for example, unless they are perverts. I am inclined to believe in the speed of light as the bounding speed of the universe, and to distrust the invocation of black holes and such, since, as I understand it, even if a black hole were a portal allowing us to go "faster" through time/space, the gravitational force would crush any conceivable ship. The gravitational force generated by a faster than light ship would make it dangerous to land near or pass through any star system, because of dislocation, and I am not sure one could plot a reliable path through empty space. I cannot think why the aliens would play such a coy game with us, when their technical superiority should give them the upper hand. But most of all, I admit, I am biased, and would prefer that it not be so. I do not relish the idea of the entire Earth being placed in the position of primitive cultures when brought into contact with an (at least) technologically superior culture.
