. Is there anyone who doesn't think Powell isn't vastly more desirable in that position than Alexander "I'm-in-charge" Haig? ? Both of those guys are top notch "Pentagon Warriors". The "Gunslingers" you need to run a war never make it to the top. Powell will make an excellent Sec of State, because that's what you need in that position.
