Ian: If there is anyone who may want to buy up SVGL, I think that AMAT may be the most suitable one I can imagine. All SVGI (including SVGL) product lines are complementary to AMAT's. I am sure that AMAT wants to get into lithography business. But, this is not their forte. It is difficult for them to start from scratch.
If AMAT is not buying SVGI/SVGL in the next six months, it is probably due to financial issues more than anything else. For technical and reliability issues, AMAT can help solve them with their expertise. Of course, it depends on what kind of reliability issues people are talking about.
