Leigh, Today my son played in his second Basketball game for the school's 5th grade team. He had been asking to join the team, and there was a spot open. On Thursday, he had gone to his first practice. His first game was on Saturday. He was excited, as he said he had gotten a lot of rebounds. Today he was even more excited as he contributed 2 points to the teams winning score!!! The look on his face was priceless when he realized the ball actually went through the hoop!! He was grinning as he ran back down the court. His Dad and I were sitting in the bleachers grinning as well!! Sports have come very easy to Michael. It should have been no surprise to me that he would fall into the game of basketball with nearly no effort!!! Two more points for Michael!!!! Happy Parenting, Jane BTW, Leigh it was great to talk to you the other night real time.....thanks for the chat!!
