Well, if the Afro-Americans had been allowed to vote in Florida, Gore would be the President Elect and the markets might not be in such bad shape! As it is now, we have Bush Jr. who has no credibility because: (1) He did not win the popular vote. (2) He would not have won Florida if the Afro-Americans had been ALLOWED TO VOTE because 9 out of 10 who voted, voted for Gore. So, we have a Supreme Court that is no longer Supreme, a court that most Americans will scrutinize closely in the future and we have a President who did not win the election fairly. Are you really surprised that the markets are DOWN and that they are unable to sustain a RALLY?
