12:04 ET Extreme Networks (EXTR) 58 1/2 -13 3/4: -- Update -- Getting a lot of questions about EXTR but few answers. The stock was hit on Friday by a CFRA report and Cisco's increased loss reserve. The only new info today is a call by Morgan Stanley's Chris Stix that appears to be hurting the entire sector: Stix continues to have a NEUTRAL rating on the networking sector, and says that upside in Q4 earnings reports and in future guidance will be more modest, backlogs are shrinking, balance sheets will deteriorate, and the pricing environment has become tougher. Others getting hit by this call: CSCO -2 47/64, FDRY -6 15/16, FFIV -3 3/8.
