Hank, there are always some sectors of the market doing well - this year, health care, energy, financials, homebuilding, utilities, etc would have stood you in good stead since March.

Unless you expect a severe economic contraction - and I don't - the "bullish" challenge is to play the right sectors and follow the institutional money. There is a lot of money on the sidelines that will creep back into the market somewhere.

The trick is finding out where and getting there first. For now I am heavily into financials and natural gas and a couple of health care-related stocks. And suffering along with my favorite techs too.
