Nobody has commented on the significant downside ("sell on the news"?)
trading today...coming on the heels of the equally remarkable volume
in the days preceding this announcement when "no one" should have
known what was coming down the pipe. Perhaps DDL followers
were simply optimistic that the management would be successful in
finding a solution to the "sword of Damocles" debt problem facing them
in June and wanted to add to their holdings on the cheap. But shouldn't
this development have been significant enough to stabilize the price
at a minimum today, considering the productivity and synergy of this
deal and how bleak the alternative (no deal) would have been? Any
thoughts on this?
