December is going to be yuck. IMHO, there are such huge losses on paper for some of these tech stocks that tax loss selling is going to dominate any rally attempt until we get to day 1 of January. The fed might provide some upside IF they actually do lower rates tomorrow (still a long shot.....), but I think that will be met with selling, again....for tax purposes. I guess the days of day trading "from work" are fading. As companies start making layoffs, you don't wanna be considered in the dead-wood/non-productive category by spending time watching the market.... Steve
