14:56 ET Fed Preview : The FOMC will hold a one-day meeting tomorrow. While small group of senators (Harkin, Wellstone, Dorgan) have sent letter to Greenspan urging a reduction in rates, futures markets suggest that an ease is not likely. Odds currently put a 25 bp ease tomorrow at 44%. Chance for a 25 bp reduction in Jan. has been fully priced in, with odds of a more aggressive 50 bp move now 70%.
