Oh, I'll give him a chance. I give everyone the benefit of the doubt. I even assume that posters on these threads mean all their words to be constructive. It's a fatal flaw.

I'm seeing some parallels between Bush's first steps and the Reagan administration. Reagan delegated a lot so he could take naps. Bush seems to be delegating as well. It's a good way to compensate.

The Reagan administration did a pretty good job of marginalizing the religious right. I'm hopeful that what I see Bush doing is pointed in that direction.

The Reagan years didn't turn out to be anywhere near as bad as they could have. I'm hopeful.
