My recollection was that he was referring to the level of inventory buildup, not the writeoff over and above this buildup. Still, my notes don't say so in either direction, so I could easily be mistaken. Still this seems like it has taken a whole lot of people by surprise, so if CSCO did tell us it was coming, they didn't say so very loudly.
