I am bewildered how some can assail him, or bluntly question his intelligence, when they don't know him, have never spoken with him, have never worked with him, and he hasn't served yet one day .
But we just went through over a year of intense campaigning, the objective of which was for GW to make himself be known to us, to speak to us, to show us his works, and the record of his service. Can I not judge him from that? Will I have more results to judge him from in the future, yes, and I hope, sincerely, that he surprises me with good work. For now I have judged him with the information that he has given us, and I find him unacceptable. I also find him not elected but selected.
I am bewildered with those who have enjoyed eight very prosperous years and are unwilling to give Clinton any credit. He had to fight hard just to maintain the status quo (if that is all that some give him credit for), pass the FTA, lead government to a balanced budget, maintain a good working relationship with AG. |
