Wolf, I certainly agree with the comment that nothing will likely happen this year. The next two weeks are traditionally a dead time for the markets. Too many market participant's are on vacation (the crowds are thinning on Bay Street), as are many retail investors:

a) There's no one working feverishly to put the finishing touches on deals like this.
b) As Chief stated, trading volumes are thin. Who the heck would release a major corporate development in this environment? (I could say mean-spirited things about novice management, but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt.)
