JB, Welcome to the thread! It sure sounds like you have everything together and your head in the right place to tackle trading with a decent chance of success. I would agree with Brandon's suggestion to consider opening an account at Interactive Brokers. They charge commission on a per share basis ($0.01/share), which makes trading very inexpensive for those trading in smaller size. Feel free to ask any questions you may have on the thread, as you'll find everyone to be very helpful and pleasant (most of the time<g>). Good luck, -Eric
