I'd expect a bit of near-term turbulance here, but this could be positive overall.

It appears that they had enough cash to go about a year before they sold this private offering. If they are raising cash now, it must either be because they are getting nervous about the market (unlikely) and think it's their last chance, or because they need cash to ramp-up production.

I have to assume it is the latter. Their R&D goes along at a steady pace and is fairly predictable, and as I said, it does appear that they have the money to keep R&D going for the short term (next year).

If they are going to use the cash to move from an R&D stage to real volume production, then this is a very positive move.

But I do wish they'd have waited a bit more, and perhaps done a public offering at a higher price.

I also hope they do some explaining to shareholders on Monday morning, so that we know what they are going to do with the money.
