Susie....
Wasn't in Vegas with y'all. But the inference of this excerpt to which you cited, implies that people received paid trips from some one on tsig's payroll.... ie. "a spokesman of the company"
This is quite an assertion, without any corroborating evidence. My understanding is that Fred paid for a few people's tickets, and my further understanding is that Fred has no material relationship to TIGI other than being a shareholder. My observations is that several of these people Fred paid for turned out to be snakes in the grass. Another observation is that Fred appears to be of sufficient means to be so generous.
Moreover, further insinuations that inside info was somehow shared at this get together of message board participants seems equally falacious.
The only charade I heard about being perpetrated was by a certain person, his sibling and sibling's friend.
If V?gas is going to make such assertions, I'd like for him to provide some corrobaration ie. proof of his assertions. Otherwise his not so subtle inferences along with his other prior possibly purposeful misreporting of the OS begin to not only demonstrate that he is disingenuine about riding a white horse, but also begin to suggest that he has ulterior motives above simply having a vendetta for risks he obviously couldn't afford to take.
If for some incredible reason, V?gas saved his own hide, why people like him can't simply move on with their lives is amazing, especially in a sector where most companies were and are essentially venture cap situations with unproven b-models even the sectors "leaders" like AMZN, CMGI, and others who have lost dollar wise more value while burning significantly more cash and never even coming close to generating earnings.
Maybe v?gas and others need to triple their doses of prozac, if they believe that the market has to offer price guarentees. V?gas "sounds" like he has no business investing in anything other than a savings account if he doesn't understand risk and the time it takes usually for venture caps to pan out if they do.
All the tulip bulbs people traded the past several years have really unrealistically raised expectations about gains and time frames.
Down markets like this do wonders for irrational exhuberance.
Have a good night.
