Meat, Read my post again. I said I did not think Dell would miss as badly as Gateway and others. As for the other firms you mention, perhaps one difference is that expectations (and PE) were a bit higher for Dell. I've posted a bunch of times that I really am not doing much at all in the market for some time now other than very quick trades. I'm not short Dell, but in cash, and very glad to be in this state <gggg>. As for getting carried away, I've been arguing that the bulls are the ones that got carried away on this one, not me <ggg>. I'd say we are pretty close to the bottom on this one, the question is - what type of recovery, and how long? Or, will this be 1973-74 all over again, where the nifty fifty for the most part never came back. Regards, John
