heres another scenario-- while i have been unbelieving of a rate cut this time, the accelerating bad news and "hints" now make that at least a "good possibility", i still lean towards january rate cut, but it would be just like the market to get a rate cut, have a big rally, and then someone say " whoa, greenspan is behind the curve, we must really be close to a recession or hard landing" and knock us right back down again, im willing to take my chances and i hope we get a rate cut, but isnt it just like the market to take good news and twist it into temporary bad news?
just a possible scenario
