If Greenspan lowers interest rates he will be contradicting everything he has been building towards the last few years. His goal is a slowing economy. Unfortunately, with the invention of the internet, and online gambling, err... investing, things have gotten out of control. The very people screaming for rate cuts, are the very people who have helped inflate this bubble to maximum density.
