The licensing is going so well that CEO Carl Yankowski said recently that the company is considering spinning off a new company to develop and sell the platform.

Sounded intriguing at first. After thinking about it, spinning off the hardware business or spinning off the OS business, what is the difference?

Not much yet, but going forward, what about the following products:
Web-based applications - Will go with the OS.
Servers - Probably will go with the OS

If this is the case, Yankowski should really talk about either spinning off the hardware business or spinning off the OS, Server, Web, and Servicing into a seperate company.

Regards,

Khan
