Jack,

There are a number of reasons to keep a hole tight. Unfortunately for you as an IMMM investor, they also have conflicting implications:

1) The results are outstanding and UPR does not want the news to get out because other companies will be in there in a flash, thus driving up leasing costs and/or landowner royalty shares. Or, they are attempting to acquire currently leased acreage for less than an arm and a leg.

2) The results are negative, but UPR wishes to 'manage' its news releases. This happens more often than you might think.

3) The results are inconclusive and they are delaying release due to uncertainty in either 1) or 2) above.

4) UPR may have a strict policy of tight holes wherever they are drilling exploration wells.

I understand your frustration, but the one thing that you must not do is to ask IMMM to break this confidence. Their doing so would jeopardise whatever relationship they have with UPR. Hope this helps.

Mike
