Ray, its very simple. There was a client who could not get highspeed service so he phoned us. At which time I informed him he was within our service area. I had the techs do line of site and it was perfect. The only problem was that it was an 11 story building. Now I could care less but the landlords usually want conduits ran from the roof to the client suit. The radio/modems usually sit in a electrical room near the roof because coax can not be ran that far. Once again, I am going after the clinet not the building and most landlords don't care if your a client and have something on the roof. Our installers are top notch so we never have any probelms. SO the landlord says NO to the clinet because they are bringing in DSL into the building and want everyone to use that and the clint is upset. At that point we recognize that the builing is prime for opening another coverage area and by bringing up sectors and a highspeed backhaul we have yet another zone. I guess you would need to understand wireless local loops and last mile situations. SO, I lose 1 deal and open the door to few 1000 more low rise industrial as we extend our foot print that don't have any highspeed and mounting my gear is no problem. Providing service to the building dosen't matter now. THere is more to be made off the new zone.
