DK,

Clinton could have cleared things up by making the true statement that he did intend to, and did understand, that he was involved in a sexual act with Monica Lewinsky. He could have admitted that he swindled many people in the White Water affair. I think an admission of his involvement in the demise of Vince Foster would serve the nation well, but that is merely a personal opinion.

Gore could have cleared things up by admitting that his chaperoned visit to Nam was clearly a photo op, and that he was never within miles of danger, and surrounded by crack troops to make sure he didn't stub his toe. He could have retracted his statement that he invented the internet. He could have admitted that the problem at the Love Canal, was old news by the time he got involved. I could go on ad infinitum, but that is enough. ~H~
